Prime .heavy bullocks, £9 15s to £0 17s 6d'; prime bullocks, £9 10a to £9 12s 6d; light £9 to £9 2s 6d; vealers, 21s to 255; good wethers, 16s 2d to l&s sd; prime heavy ewes, 15s 3d to 15s 8d: good owes, 13s 6d to 13u lid; plain,' lis 8d to 12s; prime lamb,. 12s Gd to 12s lOd ; good lamb, lis 6d ta 12s.
WAJPOUA STOCK SALE
Messrs J. Macintosh and Co. report as follows on their sale at the Waipoua yards yesterday:—There Avas a large entry of stock and a good attendance of buyers. The sale was an excellent one, bidding being spirited, and every lino was disposed of: —We quote: Fat and forward ewes, 10s lOd to lis 6d; fat and forward wethers, 14-s ocl to 14s lOd; for store ewes-, 8s 7d to 9s Sdj'f.m. ewes in, lamb, 10s Bd-; shorn lambs, 7s lOd; cidl ewes, 4s Id to 5s 2d; 2-tonth wethers, lis 3d; woolly lambs to 9s; fat heifers, to £5 7s; 3-year old heifers in calf, £4 6s; 2-year old heifers, £4 ; calves, 29s to 32s to 40s; yearling heifers, £3 10s; yearling steers, £3 18s. One purebred Jersey cow on account of Mr H. Douglas realised £ll.
SOL WAY STOCK SAMS.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having offered a medium entry of all classes of stock, competition for which was good, and we are pleased to report a total clearance at the following prices:—Cull lambs, 2s 6d; medium ditto, 6s lid to 8s Id; cull owes, 4s Gd to 5s Id; empty ewes (m good condition), 8s to 10s 9d (the latter price- being obtained for a good, lin« of about 400 guaranteed empty.) Cattle : 18-moiiths steers, £2 18s to £4; 18moiiiths to 2-\*e«r steers, £4 7s to £4 14s; £2i-year steers, £5.

There was a good attend mice of buyers, .and competition' was k»en throughout the sale, pi-ices being well maintained.
