NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Tdegraph—Prm Auociation.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of fche Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report:— The barometer fell ia the South until- midnight, but has risen both in the North and South to-day. The weather has been .showery on* all the western' coast, and .at "times' :■-' elsewfere;, (Conditions, were very rough in ippveatix;Strait' last night." .. iPresent inductions are for a rising barometer everywhere, with westerly' and southerly winds strong to gale, and cold and showery weather generally.
