HOSPITAL COMMITTEE
MONTHLY MEETING.
The monthly meeting of the Masffcerton Hospital Committee was held in the Hospital Bfoard's office yesterday morning. There were present,— Messrs J. B. Keith (chairman), W. Fisher, D. J. Cameron, H. O'Leary, M. J. H. Jackson and J. C. Ewington.
THie treasurer reported a credit balance to date of £214 0s lid.
Acco-ontfi amounting to £B4 15s 2d were passed for payment., Correspondence was received in reference to the "Dreadnought" gas, iandi it was resolved .that Mr Fisher ;lbe appointed to pay a visit of inspection, to the Waipukurau Hospital, with the object of ascertaining if that particular class of light will suit the requirements of the Masterton Htospitail. Ptosis for the propo-sed nurses' home at the Mastenton Hospital were considered, and it was ultimately revived that ,as soon as the Minister's approval of the plans is obtained, tenders- be invited for the erection of the building. The secretary reported that the estimates fo .rthe ensuing year, as submitted to the Hospitaf Board, had been approved, with one or two slight lamendments.
Mr O'Leary was appointed Waiting member for the ensuing month.
