BRITAIN AND FRANCE
A REMARKABLE DEMONSTRATION.

PARIS, April 13. M. Poincaire, in the presence of Ambassadors, and Ministers, unveiled a Queen Victoria, statue at Nice. M. Poincaire paid an eloquent eulogy to the character of the late Queen and her relations with France. The ceremony proved a remarkable entente demonstration. One hundred thousand visitors were i present. | Six hundred British marines, 1000 French' marines and 8000 .soldiers par- i ticipated. His Majesty King George V. 6 ent the following message:— '*l rejoice that the British and. French are marching together once more."
