WAR OFFICE MEMORANDUM
(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.)
LONDON, April 13. The War Office, in memorandum, states that the Tripoli tan war has proved the value of aeroplanes in actual warfare.. The Government, impressed with the condition of aviation in Britain, as compared with the progress in other nations, proposes to establish a Royal Flying Corps, in addition to the Aviation School at Salisbury Plain. It hopes that a considerable proportion of the civilian aviations will join the reserve and serve in | any part of the world. j Three hundred and sixty-four flyers are wanted for the army, and forty for the navy. Only sixty are in training at present. It is proposed that an Air Com- j mittee be created as an adjunct to I the Committee of Imperial Do-1 fnco.

BERLIN, April 13. The Admiralty is negotiating with the Zeppelin Company to deliver four .five of the most powerful Zeppelin irships within three years for navy purposes.
