At the conference of the New Zealand Labour Party yesterday, a motion was passed recording the deep'senso of Toss sustained by the workers in the', death of the Hon. M. A quiet wedding took place at dadstone on Easter Monday, at the residence of the bride's mother, when Mr E. Dorset, of Hawke's Bay, was married to Miss F. Pownall proceeded to Wellington yesterday afternoon, but arrived too late to see his brother alive. Tho deceased was well-known in Masterton, and was highly-respected by all who had-the pleasure of his acquaintance. The cause of death was blood-poisoning. Mr F. Waldegravo, late Under-Sec-retary for Justice, left Auckland for Sydney and England by the Mongolia on Wednesday. A-London cable message states that the Trinity College of Music has re-ap-pointed Messrs Mistowski, Schilsky, and St. George its examiners for Australasia.
