LONDON, April 9. Renter's Cairo correspondent states - that a crowded ferry steamer was sunk ""v, in the Nile at midnight, and that it is believed 200 persons were drowned.
CAUSE OF THE DISASTER.

CAIRO, April 9. The excursion, steamer lest in the Nile had 300 persons aboard. She collided with another steamer. The latter saved many. Seventeen bodies have already been v leooverd.
