Nielsen was receiving big starts, but by the margin of bin wins he could have easily defeated several cf the back-markers on even terms. He receives the gold medal for most points in running vents. The Hunters' Competition wa.s won by G. McKay's Seal, Mr A. Wilton's Sylvia Morn being runner-up. The points pri»e for horse events was won by D. Jensen. The popular secretary (Mr George i i Allen) was untiring in his efforts- to ' conduct the meeting in a proper manner, and with the officials is deserving of high praise.
