The play was keen at the commencement, but a shower of 1 rain .somewhat altered the aspect of things. The results of the play were as follow: — .SECTION A. Fourth Round. Mutrio (31) beat Guild (10). Blinkhorne (20) beat Harrison (13). Scott (29) beat Hollings (12). , Fifth Round. Guild (22) beat Hollings (9). Harrison (32) heat Mutrie (16). Scott (37) 'beat Bliiikorne. (IS). ' SECTION B. Fourth Round. Gordon (17) beat Chamberlain (lb. Wilkes'.(3l) heat Chapman (15). Staples (21) beat Cresswell (15). Fifth Round. Cresswell (34) hsai Wilkes (8). Staples (25) heat Chamberlain (18). Gordon (28) heat Chapman (13). THE FINALS. The finals of the two sections between Rankin ai:d Harrison (winners of Section A) and Beale and Staples (winners of Section B) were commenued, but were not finished last night. Harrison is leading with 15 A ~. Staples 11, with five heads yet to play. The match' will probably be finished on Saturday..
THE "FEATHERS." A match for ""the "Feathers" was also played yesterday afternoon. The holders, Wilkes, Prentice, I nder and Cresswell (s), defeated the challengers, E. Praguell, W. M. Cole, Blinkhoruc, and Scott (s), by 18 points to 14.
