WAIRARAPA RACING CLUB.

CONCLUDING DAY

The autumn meeting of the Wairarapa Racing Ohib was concluded today. The weather was windy and unpleasant, but there was a good attendance of the public. Speculation was brisk throughout the day, the sum of £9407 being put through the machine, making a total of £20,770 as against £15,996 for the corresponding meeting last year. Results:—

RJOTOTAWAI HANDICAP, of 115 sovs., 6 furlongs. 2. R. Cooper's b« g Full Rote, aged 9.4 (The Offieer-Kimmer) (T. Pritchard) 4. Carvell and Orton's eh g Overtime, 7.9 (A. Neale) 7. J. Griffiths' Mk g Cullinan, 5 . yrs, 7.7 (E.' Lowe) (Winner trained by N. Williams.)

Red Lupin was first out from a fair; start, but was soon headed by Full Rate, wlto led a bunched field into the straight, where Red Lupin and British Maid ran up to him. Full Rate ran on and won by a length from Te Roti, who finished fast on the outside.' Cullinan .wao.i third, a. lengjlh clear of Brifislr Maid. Tigerine was "again left, and whipped the field. Lady Kilcheran was first away, but was scon displaced by Abercoed, who led till entering the straight, when the field bunched, and t!he colours of Glenfern and Foresbot were prominent. In the run home Arohakau finished fast on the outside, and won by a neck from Elfish, who finished fast and beat Glenfern by half a length. Lady Kilcheran was fourth and Foreshot fifth. Time, 1 min. .29secs.

From, an even start King's Favourite was the first to show out, and led into the .straight, where Peroneal came through and won easily by two lengths from' King's Favourite, who was a length in front of Elevated. Time, lmiii. 2 l-osees.
