WHO KILLED COCK ROBIN?
t It has been left to. Professor Mills, the apostle of Labour unity, to explain the cause ot the defeat of Sir Joseph Ward at the recent elections. The Professor, in an address.,at Palmerston North, stated thatrfcliere 1 were fifteen members of the Party who were allied in their viewls with Mr MlajEeey. It was iftas fifteen, who had put Sir Joseph Ward out and put Mr Mackenzie in. If the Professor be correct in his definition of the political situation, it is tantamount to saying that the views of Mr Massey have been endorsed by an overwhelm-. • ing'majority in the country. If this is so, it is surely anomalous that the ' Leader of the Reform Party should reimain in Opposition.
