TWO FURTHER STRIKES. AND A LOCK-OUT. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON, April 4. . Thirty thousand jute workers have been locked out at Dundee owing to a refusal of 5000 to return to work after a futile strike for an increase of wages. RAILWAY MEN T.N BRITISH COLUMBIA. ARMED ATTACK ON NONSTRIKERS. (Received April 4, 11 a.m.) VANCSUVER, April 3. Six thousand men emploj'ed on railway construction work in the interior of British Columbia have struck. Several armed attacks have been made on the men who have not yet struck, the object 'being intimidation. A special force of police has been, despatched to the scene to preserve order.
