Northumberland; Durham, Lancashire and Yorkshire voted heavily agains resumption, but the Midlands and South Wales had an effective counter-voice. Of the latter, a majority.favoured resumption. }' The sum-of £4OOO- weekly is being spent in relieving misery. The Potteries fund is almost exhausted, rand another £SOOO is required to tide over Easter.
