Motor' Cycle Club's sports held on t!he Hastings # Racecourse on Boxing Day, the Triumphs again practically wept the board. Out of on entry,of 12 machines repumphs secured ten firsts, seven seconds, and 4 thirds out of a possible eleven events. This performance is all the more remarkable when it is considered tlhat the Triumphs had to concede large handicaps to machines of equal power and six of the ten first machines were ridden by amateur riders. ■ On Saturday. December 30th, Mr J. L. Braifihwaite left for Wellington on hiß Triumph motor cycle to make an attempt oni the existing figures of ihv, "Walfinrrto; "" *- r — : ~ ' H. L. Schaeffer on New Year's Day, several atitempts on other mak machines, this record has stood to the credit of the Triumph, for three years. Mr Bnathwaite left the Wellington.
