FUNDS GROWING LOW.
| FREE CHURCH AND RELIEF. (Received March 30, 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, March 29. The Miners' Unions have disbursed £1,043,250 in strike pay. They still hold securities nominally of- the value of £950,900, and mostly belonging to Durham, Yorkshire; Derbyshire, and Nottingham. The funds of the North Wales, War? wickshire, Cumberland, Staiiierset, and Bristol Unions are exhausted. Mr Ashton, secretary of the Miners' Federation, recommends resumption of work. . ; The National Free Churclr Council' is organising a relief )committce in every district. Collections will be taken up on Good Friday and Easter. Sun-, day. Unemployed returns- disclose the fact that the, strike has not caused abnormal distress in London.
