Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows regarding tli::: ; ' Palmerston stock sale held to-day:— Good compjetdtioni existed for all classes of sheep, and a largo yarding changed hands at tho following quotations. Competition, for cattle was not brisk. 'Quotations: —2-toofh ewes, l&r lid; 2, 4, and 6-tooth ewes, 13s Gd; sound mouth ewes, 9s 3d to 10s 6d; aged ewes, 5s 8d to 8s 9d; good lamhs, 8s 9d to 9s 4d; medium lamhs, 5s M to Gs; cull lambs, 4s. Cattle: 2-year steers, ,£3 lis; fat cows, £4 7s to £5 12s; weaners, 25s 6 C I to 275.
