SUCCESS GOLD DREDGING CO.
ANNUAL MEETING. The second annual general meeting of the Success Gold-dredging Company was held in Murray's Hall, Mas-terton, last night, sixteen members being present. Mr W. E. C. Reid, the secretary, was in attendance. Mr John Hesesy, (sole Director, was in tilie chair, and in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, ■stated that the dredge had now got a face of four chains in good deep ground. In the past the dredge had been confined to about one chain of deep ground, and this extra width now went to prove what he had always sitiated, that the deep ground would widen out, and consequently a great deal mere material wotiM be treated a'nd the returns improved. The motion was seconded by Mr T. B. Michel and carried, unanimously. . Dr Oook moved that Mr John Heseey, the retiring Director, be reelected sole Director at last year's re-' ttHHiera-tioii. v The motion was carried. ' > Mr James Brown, of Dunedin, 1 I<\P.A. (N.Z.), was re-elected auditor at a fee of five guineas-. Mr Cameron moved that a hearty - vote of thanks,, be accorded Mr Eessey for Iris past services as Director. He said it was very nice being a Director when everything was going well, bait the pasi; year had been a very trying and worrying year for Ma- Hessey, and he was quite sure the shareholders felt grateful to him for lias work during the time he had been Director. The motion was carried by acclam-i a-tion, and the meeting closed. I
