THE INFANTMORTALITY SUSPENSION OF GOODS TRAINS. (Received March. 29, 8.5 a.m.) LONDON, March 28. Two regiments from Aldershofc have gone to Shrewsbury. The infantile mortality in Manchester has risen from 84 to 135 per thousand. There has been a similar rise in the "Potteries" district. Tho railways have decided not to run goods trains next week, except for the carriage of food. Several of the Companies have cancelled Easter excursion trains. There have been angry meetings at Warwickshire, owing to the strike pay fund being exhausted. The miners are demanding that the executive shall draw upon the pension fund. The Warwickshire miners' .executive has ordered the men not to "wait for tiho ballot, but to return to work immediately.
