Motor Cycle Club's sports held on the Bastings Racecourse on Boxing Day, theTnumpha again practically wept the board. Out of an entry of 12 machines representing 5 difrerenit makes the Triumphs secured ten firsts, seven seconds, and 4 thirds! out of a possible eleven events. This performance is all the more remarkable when it is considered tihat the Triumphs had to concede wes were ridden by amateur riders. On Satin-day. December 30th, Mr J L Braithwaite left for Wellington on Lib Triumph motor cycle to make an attempfoni the existing figures of the Wellington, to Napier record— H L. Schaeffer on New Year's Day. 1909, also on a Triumph.
