GRACE ELTON COMEDY CO.

The Grace Elton Comedy Company appeared in the Masterton Town Hall last evening, when, the excellent programme of vocal and instrumental items put before the public deserved a much larger house than greeted the clever artists. Miss Grace Elton is undoubtedly one of the most versatile musical artists that havo yet visited Masterton, mid '. she carried through a highly entertaining programme, being only assisted'by. Mr Fred- Elton, in such a way as to gain the loud applause of the audience, who greatly appreciated Miss Elton's efforts on the piano and with the violin. Her acrobatic violin item saw excellent music rendered under, the ttu'ost difficult conditions, and well merited the applause it received. Mr Fred EJton has acquired the knack of keeping his audience in the best of spirits, and his ability to render music on almost any known instrument makes him one of the most versatile of musicians. The programme, token from beginning, to end, is one which merits the greatest praise, and as a musical comedy performance is equal to anything we have seen in Masterton for some time. The Elitions will give an entire change of programme this evening, when a better houso should.-be assured of those (fond of a good all-round musical pro•gramime.
