From San Bernardino comes new.ii that .Messrs Covington and Albert, two wealthy Englishmen, were climbing the Mount Bernardino, when they were caught by an avalanche, which swept with tremendous force down the north side of the mountain. The avalanche hurled them asido on to a huge snowbank, and their lives were thus saved.
