ANTI-CHINESE LEAGUE
FORMED AT CHRISTCGEiUItaH. (By Telegraph—Press Association^ CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. At a meeting attended by taibo-ufc sixty persons, and addressed by Mr J. Cameron, it was decided to form an anti-Chinese League, in this city. The cUurman (Dr. Hunter) a#d Mr Caineron both deprecated '■ against the Chinese, and advocated tho boycott and education of pul>l&*bpinion. Resolutions were arrived'at, &i<daring that those present use every legitimate means to prevent the Chinese from securing shops and premises, and resenting the action of agents and other 'house-owners, iii renting business land other premises to Chinese, as such action is inimical to tho social, moral, and industrial welfare, of European citizens.
