NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last NightTho Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following rejtort:— The barometer has had a falling tendency everywhere, with moderate to strong westerly winds about and northward of Oook Strait, but easterly breezes have predominated elsewhere. Rain ,lia : s fallen in many pa.rts of the country, and there were heavy if alls in the -night- . ■ Present indications are strotug westerly winds, veering : ;to /Southerly shortly in most, parts, of the country. Changeable and showery weather is(probable generally, and a cool change imay be expected soon. There is little (movement at present, but a rise in barometric pressure is due shortly-
