1, The athletic ©vents will be run under tihe rules of the New Zealand Athletic Association. 2. Nominations close with the Sco retaries oni Monday, March 18th, at 8 p.m. _ ■■■ ■. " 8. Competitors in the athletio events must send in a list of performances for the past two years. If no wins for two years, marks of starts from previous events must be stated. . 4. Acceptances and entrance fees for other evenitß close on the ground twenty minutes before each event. 6. No nominations will be accepted ■without the nomination fees. 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d, which will be forfeited if the. objections are considered frivolous. Horse events The committee reserve the right to postpone the Bports if the weather is unfavourable. 8. No first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second prize unless five starters. 9. Note— All horseß nominating (in local events) must have been m the district at least two -months prior to the datrf of the sports.
