AVe Jiavo received a telegram from 'the Union Steam Ship Co., of Xow Zealand, Ltd., io say that as the requisite number of passengers have not been booked oy the s.s, Moktoia for the Eiaster exevu-sion to the Miirlfoorough Sounds, it lias been reluctantly determined to abandon the trip.
