PAIIIATUA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams,, Ltd., -report as follows:—We offered a very "heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle to a .'largo attendance,, buyers being strongly in evidence from "the Maaawatu, Wairarapa and Hawke's Bay, where the bulk of the stock wai bought for. Sheep comprised mostly lambs, all selling at good values.. In cattle our entry totalled over 1200 head, nearly half of wOiich was grown steers in good forward condition We experienced a good enquiry for .this class, every Ibt changing hands with the exception of two small pens. Youngcattle also sold exceptionally well, good (prices being realised, and at the- closeof the day very .little -stock of any description went out unsold. .Quotations :—Forward 4-year old bullocks, £6 16s to £7 13s; and 4-year bullocks, £5 19s to £6 10s Od ; 3-year bullocks, £5 12s Gd to £6 6s; 2-year steers, £4 15s to £5 2s; 18-months and 2-year steers, £4 Is to £4 lis; TB- - steers, £3 17s 6d to £4 ss; yearliug steers, £2 8s 6d to £2 14s; weaners, 27s to 375; fat cows,* £4 15s to £5 7s; forward cows, £3 15s to £4 12s 6d; ftp eyed cows, £4 10s to £4 13s ; 'store cows, £2. 5s to £3 ss; cows and calves, £4 to £4 6s; empty heifers, £2 2s to £2 17s 6d; bulls, £2 10s to £3; 2-tooth ewes, lis 2d to 12s; sound mouth ewes, 7s lid to 10s Id; empty ewe's, 4s 9d to 7s Id; store ewes, 2s 6d to 4 s 7d; wethers, lis 4d to 12s 9d; ■woolly lambs, 6s 10d to 8s Gd; shorn lambs, 6s 7d to 7s 4d; small lambs. -Is 10(] to os 2d; Southdown rams, 4 to. 4 tens. , /
