NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, LasJ NightThe Rer. .D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Ofßce, tihis evening issued the following report : The barometer '."-has fallen in the North, and .especially about Oook Strait, but has remained low in the South. . Moderate to strong westerly winds have prevailed northward of Cape .•-Campbell and Cape Foul wind, but south-easterly winds have been experienced in southern districts. Cloudy weather has prevailed, and showery in parts, especially of the South Island. Present indications are for unsettled, cloudy and misty weather, with rain, in most parts of the country. Strong westerly... winds probable north-ward of Cook Stiait and easterly and south-easterly winds elsewhere, and a further fall in the barometer.
