Cloudy weather has prevailed, and showery in parts, especially of the South Island. Present indications are for unsettled, cloudy and misty weather, with rain, in most parts of the country. Strong westerly... winds probable north-ward of Cook Stiait and easterly and south-easterly winds elsewhere, and a further fall in the barometer.
