NEW SCHOOL FOR EKETAHUNA

WELLINGTON, Last Night./ At tho conclusion of the meeting of tli© Wellington Education Board yesterday a telephonic communication ■was received from the Education Department stating that the "Minister had approved'a grant of £I3OO for the erection of a new District High School at Eketahuna. This with the money available from the Board will admit of the erection of an entirely new school at EkeEahima. Tho members of the Board, expressed satisfaction at their urgent request having been conceded. It is probable that plans will be prepared forthwith for the new school.
