TO-DAY'S WEATHER
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Preti Atsociation.) WELLINGTON, Last NightThe Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report: — The barometer rose steadily in- the North on Saturday and Sunday morning, but has fallen steadily in the southern districts. Southerly breezes backing to increasing westerlies have prevailed, with '.fair to cloudy weather. Present indications are for strong westerly winds generally, and changing to southerly .soon, in the Southern districts. The barometer has a falling tendency in the North, but a rise is expected shortly in the South. Unsettled and cloudy weather is probable on the West Coast and .southernmost districts, and changeable fair to cloudy conditions elsewhere. Showery ■weather is probable in many parts of the country.
