1. The athletic events wiU be ran under tie rules of tfcs New Zealand Athletic Association. 2. Nominations close with the Secretaries om Monday,. March 18th, at 8. Competitors io the athletio events must send in a list of performances for the past two year*. If no wins for two years, marks of starts from previous events must be stated. 4. Acceptances and entrance fees for other events close on the ground twenty minutes before each event. 6. No nominations will he accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d, which will be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. Horse events 7. The committee reserve the right to postpone the sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8. No first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second (prize unless five starters. # 9 *Note.— All horses nominating (in local events) must have been . m , the district at least two month* prior to the dato of the sports. They must also be the property of bona fide residents of the district, otherwise they wall be disqualified; . . 10 The committee reserve the right to alter the order in which the events of the N.Z Athletic 'and Cycling Union, providing tne | maximum nomination and acceptance fees of 5 per cent, on total- prize money,-will be observed, anything m the above programme notwithstanding.
