A WORKERS' UNION
FORMED AT v/HANCAREI. (By Telegraph—Press Associatien ) WIIAXGAREI, Last Night. A union has boon for mod at Whangurei, embodying all workers who aro not attached to any such organisation. A start lias been made with o3 members, and it is expected that tins will bo increased to a hundred by April when the next meeting will bo held, to consider whether to register under the- Arbitration or Trades Union Act. A resolution was carried that the meeting protested against the action of the Auckland City Council, in refusing to recognise the principles of Unionism, and wishing success to the Labour candidate for the Mayoralty.
