RULES AND CONDITIONS. 1. The athletic events will be run under the rules of the New Zealand AtM&tio Association. _ : 2. Nominations close with the Secretaries oni Monday, March 18th, at 8 p.m. % , ' ... 3. Oom/petitors in- the athletio events must send in a list of performances for the past two years. If no wins for two* years, inarks of starts from previous ©venitß must be gtat©cL 4. Acceptances and entrances fees for other events close on the ground twenty, minutes before each event. ■ 6. No nominations will be accepted without the nomination fees. ■ 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d, which will be forfeited if. the objections are considered frivolous. Horse events ss. . . . 7. The committee reserve the rign& to postpone the sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8. No first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no seoond prize unless five starters. # 9. Note.— All horses nominating (im local events) must hiave been in the district at least two months prior to the datd of the sports. They must also be the property of bona fide residents of the district, otherwise they will be disqualified. 10.
