The wedding of Miss .S. Bolton to Mr T revor Beetham is to take place at Trinity Church, Woodville, on April 10th. x Mr M. Lavery, barrister and solicitor, of Masterton, lias taken over the business of the late Mr C. A. Pownall, of Masterton. He will be Mr S. J. Moran, L.L.8., of' Wellington. The business will be carried on under the name, and style of Pownall, Lavery and Moran. His Honor Mr Justice Edwards, accompanied by his assistant and Mrs Edwards, motored through from Masterton to Wellington yesterday. Mr Edward Page has decided, in response to a requisition, to again offer himself a-s a candidate for the Mayoralty of Eketahuna. Mr Joseph J. Guest, who was .for some years teacher at the Te Ore Ore school, but later was in charge of the school at the Chatham Islands, is at present teaching a Native school at Port Awanui, on the East Coast. Mr R, G. Waddington, of the Civil Service Educational Department, Sydney, is at present on a visit to Masterton, and is staying with his brother, Mi' E. H. Waddington.
