NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph — Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last NightThe Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, tihis evening issued the following report : The rear of the cyclone, which has passed eastward of the North Island, has diminished in intensity, owing to ibeing neutralised by a moderate low pressure passing in the south. The weather has been showery on the East Coast of the North Island and in Otago, and fair to cloudy elsewhere. Present "indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds prevailing, with a rising barometer everywhere soon. Cool and "-changeable, fair to cloudy weather is probable generally, with showers in many parts of the country.
