FASOLA. Necromancy, or., acta /savouring of the magical, hold-a/peittKar fascina-tion-over most people. The -solution onay be that on occasions we all like to feel'bewildered and, set to wondering what it all means. It is claimed for Fasola, who is being presented to a Masterton audience to-night at the Town- Hall, that he is. the greatest exponent of the black art who has ever toured the country. Originally engaged) at a very nigh salary by the late Harry Ricka-rds for a tour of ..Australia, Fasola at the conclusion of his Commonwealth tour entered into an engagement with Messrs John Fuller and Sons for a series of performances in the Dominion. Sinoe hJB appearance in New Zealand, Fasola has been greeted with wonderful sucr cess. In Auckland and Wellington .'record attendances were registered, and the concensus of opinion is that Fasola is the greatest artist i" his line yet seen in these parts. Many • of his illusions are altogether new, • and during the whole time that this j great magician occupies the stage ho holds his audience by the thrilling intensity of his mysterious deeds. During his season Fasola will permit himself to, be securely locked in stocks under the supervision of a local comimittee. This being accomplished to the satisfaction of all concerned. Fas- ' ola will then free himself of the en-, cumvbrance without having recourse to the removal cf the locks. Included in a capable company supporting Fas- • ola are "The Windsor Choristers," a quartette of boy singers, who have made themselves; famous by their charming vocalisation. It is said that, their rendering of two home songs of the people "is a charming and_ captivating performance. . Others in the company are Misses- Dolly Day, soubrette and dancer; Cecile Stephano, an accomplished contralto singer; Jas " lies, a phenomenal boy soprano; and Messrs Rud Peterson, Ghas. Tovey and Will Brennan, all artists of repute. The plan is open at the Dresden.
