Nominations close with the Secretaries oni Monday, March 18th, at 8 p.m. 3. Oomfpetitors in the athletic events must send in a list of performances for the past two year®. If no wins for two years, markß of starts from previous eventß must be stated. 4. Acceptances and entrance fees for other eventts close on the ground twenty minutes before, each event. 5. No nominations will be accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d, which iwill be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. Horse events 7. The committee reserve the right to postpone the Bporta if the weather is unfavourable. 8. No first prize will be gjven unless there are three starters; no second prize unless five starters. # 9. Note.— All horses nominating (ini local events) must have been in the district at least two months prior to the dato of the sports. Thev must also be tie property of bona fide residents of the district, otherwise they will be disqualified. . 10. The committee reserve the right to alter the order in wihich the events W 11. The 'Rules of the N.Z. Athletic and Cycling Union, providing the maximum nomination and acceptance fees of 5 per cent, on total prize money, will be observed, an 2T^r ir ?£ in the above programme notwithstanding.
