TO-DAY'S WEATHER
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Press Association.J WELLINGTON, Last NightThe Iter. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following report:— Tho winds liave decreased in the North, though south-easterly gales are still reported from East Cape and Oape Egmiont. The weather and seas have been very rough on the East' Coast of the North Island, and the weather is very unsettled and showeryin most parts of the North Island, and cold and changeaib e in the South. The barometer is very unsteady, and has shown a falling tendency again to_ day. ..." Present- indications are for cloudy and unsettled weather generally, showorv in many parts, especially on the East Coast of the North Island, where rough seas are also to be expected. Strong south-easterly winds are probable in ,the North, and easterly breezes, backing to southerly elsewhere. The barometer is unsteady, hut probably rising again shortly.
