TO-DAY'S WEATHER
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph — Tress Association.) 'WELLINGTON, Last NightThe Rev. D. 0.' Bates, of tie Meteorological Office, tlhis evening issued the following reptort:— In the northern districts the barometer has fallen, and the skies are overcast, .with rain in parts,andstrong easterly and south-easterly winds. The •barometer continues high in the South, rwith cool and changeable, but generally fair weather, and moderate to, strong southerly .winds. Present indications are for stormy weather all over the North Island, and in Cook Strait, and high westerly and south-easterly winds prevailing to the northward of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura, and heavy rain is nrobable shortly, from a. tropical disturbance, apparently advancing from the north. Cool and changeable weather probable in the south, with moderate to strong southerly winds, and little movement of barometer.
