I SINGER SEWING MACHINE CASE

SYDNEY, (March 18
The trial of Brow n and (MacPherson, charged with conspiring to defraud 'tho Singer Sewing Machine Company of £12,744, lias commenced. The evidence showed that Brown, as general manager, received a salary of £4OOO per annum. His account becoming .'largely overdrawn, he adopted a system of bookkeeping and alterations in 'landing charges (by which his deficit -was wiped out, lie thereby allegedly defrauding the Company to the amount named.
