Mr Denhara (the Premier), m a statement before the Assembly adjourned, said that twenty members ot Parliament had been implicated m lawless and foolish proceedings connected with, the late strike, which had i paralysed industry and brought unmerited sufferings on thousands. Ihe Government had decided not to hold another session, but to bring those tin. worthy members before a, higher Tribunal "than Parliament. The people, were asked to announce their judgment. He was confident Queensland would stand to the men who had stood to her in the hour of danger.
