GOES THE PACE. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) .LONDON,- March 17. Derrick Wernher, eldest son of Sir Julius Wernher, principal of the firm of Wernher, Beit and Co., has been declared bankrupt. The liabilities of the young man since he left Oxford in June, 1910, total £85,000. The father paid £25,000 of his University debts, and advertised that he would no longer be responsible for his son's liabilities.
