THOSE RESOLUTIONS.

There is a striking similarity about the resolutions which are being passed by meetings of Liberals in various parts of the Dominion, deploring the loss .which the Dominion is about to sustain by the retirement of a Premier against whom the electors emphatically declared at the elections, and exnressing the hope that he will again assume office,' It may not be that these resolutions are absolutely "faked," ,but there*, are strong grounds for suspicion on the point. It is amusing to note that most of these emanate from electorates which have returned candidates opposed to the Government. The tiling is nauseating to those, who know the ways of Liberalism.
