Motor Cycle Club's sports held on the Hastings # Racecourse on Boxing Day, the Triumphs again practically wept the board. Out of an entry of 12 machines representing 5 different makes* the Triumphs secured ten firsts, seven seconds, and 4 thirds out of a possible eleven events'. , This performance is all the moire remarkable when it is considered t!hat the Triumphs had to concede large handicaps to machines of equal ines were ridden by amateur ridera On Saturday, December 30th, Mr J L. Braithwaite left for Wellington on his Triumph motor cycle to make an attempt oni the existing figures of H L. Schaeffer on New Year's Day, 1909, also on ft Triumph.
