RULES AND CONDITIONS. T. The athletic ©vents will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Athletic Association. ! 2. Nominations close with the Sec- j retaries obi Monday, March. 18th, at 8 p.m. 3. Competitors in the athletic events (must send in a list of performances for the past two yearn If no •wins for two years, marks of starts from previous eventß must be stated. 4. Acceptances and entrance fees for other events close on the ground twenty minutes before each event. 6. No nominations will be accepted without the nomination fees. - 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d, which iwill be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. Horse events 7. The committee reserve the right to postpone the .sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8. No first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second prize unless five starters. _ 9. Note.— All horses nominating (in local events) must have been m the district at least two months prior to the dat* of the sports. They must also be the property of bona fide residents of the district, otherwise they will be disqualified. . 10.
