[From Our Own Correspondent.]
KQPUARANGA. A meeting of tho Kcpuaranga Sports Club was hold in Kopuaranga Hall on Monthly, I lth .March, and •was largely attended. Jt was resolved that the'lender of Messrs Braggins and Farmer, of Maurioeville, be accepted for the catering, and that of Mr Lon Soorrar for the drink and fruit booth. A strong working committee was .formed for the purpose, of getting the grounds in order for tho convenience of competitors and visitors. Hot water will he provided free on the grounds, and it only needs fine weather to eclipse all previous records. 'Harvesting operations are now nearly completed around here. The weather has been rory boisterous again heiv this last few days. The annual sale was hold in Kopunranga sale yards to-day, there being a, 'very good yarding, and prices keeping up to market rates. The annual school picnic, held hero last I'Yiday, was one of the most enjoyable outings experienced in Kopuaranga for a long while. A dance was held in the evening, and was largely, attended. . i
