NEW ZEALAND FORECAST (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ■ WELLINGTON, Last NightThe Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening issued the following repfort A ..small area of low pressure passed -southward of New Zealand during the night, and the glass has continued to fall in the North, with increasing cloudiness and rain in parts. Northerly and westerly winds have prevailed, but have changed to southerly in the southern-anost districts. • iPresent- indications are for. misty and cloudy weather, with rain and colder conditions generally, with strong westerly winds, changing to southerly, in all parts of the country. The barometer has a falling tendency still in the north, but a rise will probably take place everywhere shortly.
