NO TRACE OF MR R. J. MCLEAN.

Up till a late hour yesterday, the whereabouts of Mr R. J. McLean, the Eketahuna County Clerk, who mysteriously disappeared on Friday last, had not been discovered. Search parties were out all day on Saturday and Sunday, and the river was dragged in various parts. The search was continued yesterday, Mr F. J. Bright proceeding from Masterton to assist It is stated that a rain-coat worn by Mr McLean was discovered in some bush in a locality to which lie was conveyed by a cab on Friday.
