RULES AND CONDITIONS.
1. Otoe athletic eventß will- be ran under the rules of the New Zealand Athletic Association. 2. Nominations clos£ with the Secretaries oni Monday, March 18th, at 8 p.m.. 3. OomipetitoTß in tine athletic events must send in a list of performances for the past two years. If. no wins for two years, markß of starts from, previous events raiust be ed4. Acceptances and entrance fees for other evenits close on the ground twenty minutes before each event. 6. No nominations will be accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Protests must be lodged with the secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d, which ■will be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. HorßO events ss*. , ~ . u 7. The committee reserve the right | to postpone the .sports if the weather is unfavourable. 8. No first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second iprize unless five starters. t 9 *Note.— All horses nominating (in local events) must have been # in I the district atleast two months prior, to the dato of the sports.
