WELLINGTON, Last Night. John McCarthy, aged 23 years, who was remanded by the Magistrate on the-sth inst. for medical treatment for drunkenness, and who was removed from gaol to the hospital, died today. Deceased, who was a native of Sydney, had resided in the Dominion for about seven years.
