RULES AND CONDITIONS. 1. The athletic events will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Athletic Association:. 2. Nominations close with the secretaries on Monday, March 18th, at 3. Competitors in the athletio events must send in a list of p'erformances for the past two years-. If no wins for two yearß, marks of sterts from previous events must be stated 4. Acceptances and entrance fees for other events close on the ground twenty minutes before each event. 5. No nominations will be accepted without the nomination fees. 6. Brotests nmst be lodged with tne secretary ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a fee of 2s 6d, which will be forfeited if the objections are considered frivolous. Horse events 5s 7 The committee reserve the right to postpone the .sports if the weather is unfavourable. . 8 No first prize will be given unless there are three starters; no second prize -unless five Btarters. # 9 All horses nominating (ia "local events) must have been. in the district at least two months prior to the dat* of the sports. Ther must also be the property of bona fide dents of tti district, otherwise they will be disqualified. . , , will be run. 11.
